Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is not pollution and Global Warming has nothing to do with pollution. The average person has been misled and is confused about what the current Global Warming debate is about, greenhouse gases. None of which has anything to do with air pollution. People are confusing Smog, Carbon Monoxide (CO) and the pollutants in car exhaust with the life supporting, essential trace gas in our atmosphere, Carbon Dioxide (CO2). Pollution is already regulated under the Clean Air Act and regulating Carbon Dioxide (CO2) will do absolutely nothing to make the air you breath “cleaner”. Regulating Carbon Dioxide (CO2) through either ‘Carbon Taxes’ or ‘Cap and Trade’ policies will simply make energy (electricity, gasoline, diesel fuel, propane, heating oil ect…) much more expensive and severely cripple the economy.

The real problem is this. Economy, through the economy, we get stimulus, then the government ownes banks, car dealerships. Everything is for the economy, everything is a crisis. Cars, we get them to make more of the clown cars, and the government forces us to drive them. Enviroment, economy crisis. Health care Economy crisis. Cap and trade, crisis economy. This couldn’t have been a new idea. I believe this is the unltimate strangle hold on democracy and freedom. Nothin can grow and succeed because of the tax problems- its too complex and too burdensome on the people. People will still consume energy- its a check mate for on the people and industry won’t have to change as long as the consumer wears the costs.Its still ridiculous to claim its a scientific fact that CO2 causes global warming. A cap and trade system will ruin the economy even more, very bad idea when overseas companies don’t have it, this will obviously speed up job losses, speed up Outsourcing and Offshoring and more businesses will shut down and move overseas, or worse go bankrupt.
What a solution should be is better energy efficient technologies and engineering.
