<br />A poor environment is a RISK factor but to say it CAUSES lung cancer is over simplistic. </p>
<p>From what I know, carcinogenic substances increase the risk of cell mutations - possibly leading to abnormal tissue growth and then cancer.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;ve been failing emissions tests and after extensive diagnostics the shop found low compression on one cylinder which improves when putting a little oil in the top of the cylinder, which apparently indicates a cracked ring.  I need to pass the emissions test to licence the vehicle and will do the repair but preferably not right now $$$.  Is there an oil additive that would minimize oil getting past the rings to the combustion chamber causing my high HC readings?  Or anything else I could do temporarily.<br />
<br />well that sucks and since it is not going to go through emissions until its fixed, and the fact is it will be a gross polluter until you fix it. This is one of those things you do not mention make or model, I know on an american car I would be tempted to put straight 50 wieght race oil and a quart of lucas stabilizer in the crank case to try to pass emissions, but this may not work either, and a 4 cylinder probably will not run with 50 weight like a v8 would. That is a tough one, you may have to have a shop pull the engine and fix the problem, what else can you do.? best of luck</p>

I soak a cotton ball in acv put it on the wart, old it in place with a bandaid and leave it for the night. Im on my 6th night and my wart has now started to look like an open sore.. Im getting a little worried cuz so many people said there turned black and just fell off, mine has not turned black, like I said its red with like a white rim around it and kind of open in the middle&#8230;had anyone else tried this and had a similar result? They said some people it takes a little longer??<br />

<p>Philosophically speaking, the question has nothing to do with psychoacoustics; it is a philosophical riddle.</p>
<p>George Berkeley was an early 18th-Century philosopher, - and the phrase &quot;Esse est percipi&quot; (&quot;To be is to be perceived&quot;), is an edict of his &#8216;Immaterialism&#8217; theory.<br />
Berkely&#8217;s &#8216;Immaterialism&#8217; waxes upon the metaphysical notion that objects may only exist when something perceives them and it from this philosophy which the oft asked question, &quot;If a tree falls in a forest, and no one is there to hear it - does it make a sound?&quot;, is rooted in (if you&#8217;ll pardon my play on words).</p>
<p>Berkeley&#8217;s &#8217;subjective idealism&#8217; has since been entertained by a number of academicians, - and has helped spawn other interesting, and more complex, theories on perceptive realities.<br />

<p>Whether color is an OBJECTIVE quality (the apple is red because it actually IS red), - or a SUBJECTIVE one (the apple is red because my mental disposition interprets its color as being red) still wouldn&#8217;t render the apple &#8216;unreal&#8217; to an observer of it.  Lacking an observer, however, we are faced, yet again, with another type of  &#8216;If a tree falls in the forest&#8230;?&#8217; riddle; again with realist vs. nominalist perceptions of reality.</p>
