should I get my car repaired by the insurance company perferred auto repair or a company that I usually go to?

The insurance company said that I have a choice between picking the insurance company to repair my car or taking it to a auto shop of my choice and letting them fix it and the insurance company will take car of it.

I dont know what to do. Should I take it to my insurance company auto shop or to my auto shop I usually go to get repairs? I’m thinking the insurance company will try to pay the least amount to fix my car and will not do quality work… I don’t know.. I’m confused on this.

if you go to yours you are the one hiring to do the job if you go to the ins company one they will be in charge and the shop will not listen to what you have to say

Is there a auto body repair trade school for on-site trainning for students at cheap price for customer?

My mother’s car needs repaired due to several dents that she has incurred over the years. But she is on a fixed income and can’t afford to have it put in a auto repair Shop. I know beauty schools offer discounts for customers who allow their students to practice on them while they are going to school.

the problem some schools worry about is libility , a sons friend who did mechanical repars at school , every car they fixed was scraped afterwards

Why do some auto repair shops have cars in lot?

Posted by admin on January 24th, 2010 and filed under auto repair | 8 Comments »

Some auto repair shops have so many cars in their parking lot. All the cars that are parked there are parking spots customers can use. What is the reason I can see as many as 20 cars parked outside of some shops? Are these cars that still need to be worked on or are they customer cars that the owner doesn’t know if they want to repair the car or not?

A lot of times when you get into an accident and your car gets to a shop if your filing a claim they have to wait for an insurance adjuster which could take about a week they can’t start working on it before that because the insurance company might decide to total it also they have to inspect it and give a quote to the insurance company for how much it would cost to fix it after all of the insurance stuff is taken care of then they can finaly take care of the problem and return your car. If your not filing a claim then they still have to Inspect it and give you a quote to see if you can afford to have it fixed

Looking for busy area in Florida, a area good for opening a auto repair shop?

Posted by admin on January 3rd, 2010 and filed under auto repair | 1 Comment »

Hi!!
I am currently living in NY but thinking about moving to Florida and start a new auto repair Business over there and hoping it to be a busy area, to keep my type of business going. I am not very familiar with Florida and therefore probably have picked bad spots for my kind of business. I am currently looking at west palm beach and Ft. Lauderdale. I hope someone have some better suggestions.
Thank You

I have lived in Orlando for most of my life ands times are tough everywhere but based on what a friend told me it is worth a look. I work in IT and it is dead but he is a body man. He went up north for awhile but had to come back because there simply wasn’t any body work.

No matter how bad the ecomony gets the tourist still keep coming and there are always jobs at the rat farm (local name for Disney). They have to get to work somehow.

Your uncle wants a Web site for his small auto repair shop but is having a difficult time justifying its potential development cost. What part of information design needs to be addressed
help please)

a. Audience

b. Message

c. Purpose

d. Structure

E none of the above. Have a dry run and make him a website on freewebs.com first, have him put that on his business cards and see if he gets any hits. If he does then you know a website can be cost effective.

Tripple AAA can help me ? How?
Not Maaco , sorry I meant Amooca

Maaco offers zero percent for credit on repairs and paint. It is not offered by Maaco itself, just a credit company who will pay the bill in return for monthly payments. call ahead to a Maaco and ask for details. This offer may be gone by now, but it was available a few months ago.

good luck……

Can you please recommend reliable auto repair/service in Sugar Land, Texas?

Posted by admin on November 29th, 2009 and filed under auto repair | 3 Comments »

I no longer want to go to the dealership for repairs and maintenance. I know that many shops will take advantage if you don’t know 100% about your own vehicle. Would anyone like to recommend a reliable auto repair shop in Sugar Land, Texas or the southwest Houston area? Thanks in advance.

There is no such thing as a reliable auto repair shop in any state.
