How do I know if an auto repair side business is reliable and trustworthy?

I was in an accident damaging the right rear quarter panel of a 2000 Mercury Cougar, and am looking into side businesses to repair it. I have found a few that can do it relatively fast and cheap. They have references that claim good work, but is there a way for me to know if they are for real? Better Business Bureau doesn’t have them listed… any help?

Go to www.clickandclack.com. They are a local team of brothers who answer car related questions on the radio(maybe you’ve heard of them?). In any case, they have a spot on their web page that can refer you to a trust worthy mechanic in your area. All their data is from other people in the same position as you. Good luck!
