Hey guy,
I will buy a new car soon, and would like to know how can I reduce its fuel ammunition and pollution?
I heard something about filters and exhaust sytem, what this is about?
Thanks and I hope to hear from you guys soon
I already decided the car I’ll buy, Jaguar XF but I need to know how can I reduce its pollution!
While there are some rare exceptions, most modifications to automobiles do not reduce pollution but actually increase it.
Most cars already have the pollution equipment that represents the time of manufacture. Tampering could disable what is there.
The best way to reduce pollution is probably to drive less.
I am revising for science and have come across an exam question that mentions Red and White Lichens, it then asks which has been more polluted, I would like to know what the different colours of lichens mean, in terms of air pollution?
It is the quantity and type of lichens, linking to low or high air pollution, not the color >

I always see the weather say this… but does that mean the air quality is bad due to pollen and other allergens in the air, or does that mean the air quality is bad due to car pollution? I assume pollen, because I see this alert when it hasn’t rained for a while so I assume all of the pollen is just floating around in the air.
Most Big Towns & Metro Areas- have Air Pollution monitors- scattered all over Them. And these Report to a Centralized Location- several times a Day, how much "stuff" there is in the Air at THAT given time. When the Weather Service forecasts a stretch calm, dry weather coming up, They can Predict ( based on PAST Recordings of JUST such Occasions)- what the Air Quality is Going to be Like, in the coming day or Two. In the Spring, -Pollen is usually the main Culprit affecting Air Quality- because Everything Blooming or Leafing out, & a LOT of people have Allergies. In the Summer ( & sometimes- winter), calm air and Heat ( or Cold) Inversions can set up over an Area- trapping the Car & Industrial Exhaust over it. And the Weather Service can see these conditions "Coming", and thus Issue Air Quality Alerts as They are Needed. So it ALL Depends, on the Time of year, & the Conditions present, -WHAT kind of Alert will be issued- for any given Area…
