It depends on how you learn best. You may repeat them and memorize them or it may benefit you more to write them repetitively. You could make flash cards.

If you owned an auto repair shop how much money would you make?

If I owned an auto repair shop, I’d probably make about fifty bucks a year. I’m lousy at auto repair. I can check the oil and change a flat and that’s about it.

If you’re asking us how much could YOU make, we don’t have any way of knowing.

I am planing to relocate a good place in California. If anybody know about a good city that has good neighborhood, clean air quality, good schools and neat recreational parks. I would like relocate a good place that does not have desert fever or California fever. I am looking to the north side of the California, especially near by Sacramento or San francisco area. I had to take a random test,I had smoked a little before I new about the test.I had an Omni cleansing softgel I had taking on the way(1 hour before test time) I only got to urinate one time before the test.what are my chances of passing

Good chance you will fail the test.
Those cleansing products work best if used a few hours before the test with lots of water and you urinate as much as possible before giving the test sample.

My vehicle emission test is due, however my check engine light is on. I know what it’s for, it’s nothing of extreme importance, I just don’t have the money to fix it. Is there anyway I can turn it off myself or have someone do it for free or cheap as possible? Just until I get the test done so I can pass. My car is a 2000 Hyundai Accent.

I have my theory test in a few days so I have been practising everything on a focus cd on my pc.
But I thought I would try other practice tests online & one test had a few questions that are not in the theory book..does this mean those questions may pop up?

Has anyone taken their test recently? what did you think of the questions asked in your test?

Mostly the questions are same but few of them may differ because this is an exam.

Naturally there will be new questions because it is a test so what would be the point to make it that easy.

It’s possible the questions you saw were just worded differently than in the official book.

The Official DSA Theory Test book includes all latest questions that helps you to prepare for your theory test. It contains every single theory test question you could be asked until September 2011.

I ask because it seems like auto shops really have a captive audience when it comes to car inspection. You need to get your car inspected and since they also repair and service automotives, they have a conflict of interest to "get you" in whatever way they can to make some more money off you.

I think the person inspecting shouldn’t be allowed to make any of the repairs… or there should be separate institutions that just do inspections to avoid this sort of thing.

I COMPLETELY AGREEEE!!!! seriously, auto shops say its "mandatory" to get your car fixed by them in order to pass it.

Get it done by a tire place. They dont deal with mechanics so they have no way to fix it. Dunn tire I know does them, so do a lot of other ones. They’ll print out a sheet for you aying what needs attention, what is ok, and what may need attention in the future. the worst a tie place can do is fail inspection, then you’ll have to go back and get it done after you take it home and find out how your going to get the problem fixed

As most who live here know, to register a car in Northern Virginia it must first pass emissions. If someone wants to buy a car out of state and has a domicile in both Northern Virginia and elsewhere in Virginia, can one simply register it in the part of Virginia that does not require emissions?

Any input is most appreciated.

I have been inspecting vehicle in Texas and its the same in all states, to do this the vehicle needs to be registered in the town where you get your mail "BUT" doing this will create a conflict when its time to re-register the vehicle plus driving it in and around Virginia you will be ticketed as well..
