I have already asked a question about pregnancy symptoms and it seems like I should take a test to see what is going on, i would love a BFP even if it is unexpected, more due to being on the pill and partners low fertility.

My partner and I are currently in different countries (only a few more weeks and he will be moving to live with me). Should I tell him I am going to do a test, or just do it and tell him if it is positive and then just forget it if it is negative?

Maybe it’s just me, but I tell my partner EVERYTHING. If my period is late, he knows it. If I take a test, negative or not, he knows it.

I am doing a research about pollution in marine life and what can individuals, schools, business and organizations do to help stop harming marine animals.But I have no clue what can business and organizations do to help.

Well for one thing, plastics that take decades to bio-degrade (rot into nothing) should be replaced. Every time you choose a plastic bag for your groceries you have something that won’t go away for years. The same thing for plastic soda bottles. They last almost forever. In a study not long ago, these kinds of things were found to be the biggest pollutant of our oceans. They interfere with the natural order of everything from birds, to bacteria. There have been for years people who wanted to outlaw most plastics from our lives (the kind we use once and throw away) but the plastic industry has powerful lobbyist in places that urge law makers not to pass any kind of law that would reduce our consumption. Some cities have taken matters into their own hands and have mandated, as one example, that plastic bags be outlawed and people can only use cloth bags to go shopping with. If that could happen on a national level, just that one thing could reduce marine pollution greatly. All soda used to come in glass containers, as did milk. You turned them back in to get money when you bought more soda and milk. (it was called a deposit). All beer and wine is sold in glass containers by the way, so why can’t we go back to that? If you could get a movement going like that, go for it.

If you test only one variable at a time you can determine the effects of that variable. If you have two or more variables you cannot know which one affected the outcome of the experiment with 100% certainty. For instance, you are doing an experiment on what kills a plant, beer or soda. If you test both variables at the same time and give the plant beer, then 10 minutes later give it soda you cannot determine if it was the beer or the soda that killed it.

So if you had a positive test while on the pill it would be +ve.

It wouldnt be caused by other hormones such as FSH or LH?

no.. u only get hcg when ur pregnant.. so yes a positive does mean ur pregnant
the contraceptive pill does not alter the results of a pregnancy at all as oral contraceptives (birth control) do not contain HcG..

u can also get a positive from an ectopic pregnancy, and an ovarian cyst - but with both of these u dont get any symptoms.

I need an affordable one not expensive but can scan all makes foreign and domestic also can diagnose all the problems like engine, transmission ..etc. basically can does everything for auto repair shop.

What pollution problems do the following chemical have in the air?
- Carbon Monoxide.
- Nitrogen oxides.
- Sulphur oxides.

If more than 1 product of the experiment is changed and produces a different outcome, you can not tell which product coused the change.

Say a door squeaks when you open it. To find out what causes the noise, you remove the knob and add grease to the hinges. The problem is fixed, but there is no way of knowing what caused the squeaking to cease.

Well think about it this way. If I change two things say temperature and time of the experiment and the results are different than the control ( the control is the same experiment done without any changes). How could I know whether the temperature caused the change or the time caused the change? I could not. This is why only one variable should be tested so that one variable can be connected with a change in the experiment. Hope this makes things clear for you.
