Please explain why pollutants are more highly concentrated in lakes, oceans and seas.

Pollutants run off into streams and these streams combine into rivers and these rivers combine into lakes, oceans and seas. Just think of how many rivers are being drained into the Mississippi River and where does that river lead? To the Gulf of Mexico. That is one dirty ocean.

I have been having light cramps all day today. Does anyone know how long after ovulation does implantation take place?? We have been trying to get pregnant so it is very possible but my hopes are not very high right now because the test was negative. But maybe my levels are just not up there yet. Ok everyone, I went on base yesterday morning to get a blood test and waited all day for them to call me back. I called back several times to get my results and they were still pending. Come to find out they ran out of pregnancy tests and should get a shipment today by noon. This is really torture for me. I will find out if I am pregnant, which I pretty much have a feeling I am, and I will update you all. I have been waiting almost 24 hours now for results so I am dying. I did not tell my husband yet because I want to do something special to surprise him tonight.
ok guys, I took a pregnancy test tonight and it came out positve this time. Even though I knew I was shocked. I surprised my hubby by giving him a gift bag with a onsie and a baby bottle in it. Also, with a card and the pregnancy test. He was very surprised!!

well it sure sounds like you are pregnant usually depending on hcg levels you can test a week after missed period, or even better get a blood test… it can show real low levels of hcg .

I am buying an old car tomorrow (1982) and my friend claims that the buyer must provide proof that the vehicle has recently passed California smog emissions tests before selling and transfering the title. Is this true?

I believe this is the case, unless you and the buyer agree otherwise.

these two aren’t affiliated with each other, but the finance company is saying that since the payment will be due in about five days after car is fixed they are want to have the mechanic refuse to release the car ?

I recommend that you interview several attorneys who specialize in this area of law.

Essentially the finance company cannot direct the mechanic not to release your car.

I recommend that you consider suing the finance company in small claims court.

Also I recommend that you ask one of thee attorneys that you interview to send a letter to the finance company on your behalf.

A letter from an attorney will often bring a finance company back into compliance with the law.

some of the smaller auto finance companies ignore the law if they think that they can get away with it.

In scientific terms I can not help but in layman’s terms it goes something like this: pollution thins the ozone layer which in turn lets more harmful sun rays through. It is not good for crops and not good for humans. also another thing it does is gives us the haze during the days that can cause health problems. Use a more efficient fuel. Crack down on business that release all the nasty stuff into the air. Some of which by the way causes cancer among other things.

I am currently planning a thesis on air quality/pollution and I was wondering if anyone had any inspiring ideas on this topic?
I am thinking about something along the lines of photochemical smog formation, pollution episodes, hydrocarbons/Volatile Organic Compounds in urban air etc. These are just brain initial brain stormed ideas. My problem is I have too many general ideas. I need something very specific - a hypothesis I can test. Grateful for any input anyone may have. Go ahead…plant some seeds…Many thanks in advance.

Think who is responsible and what action of each them causing air pollution? Any body, starting from individuals to gevrnment, NGO is liable for creating pollution in a way or other. Still the basic liability lies with the individuals. Think always which of your actions are generating air pollution directly or indirectly? use of natural light, renewable source of energy, reusing the old usables, promoting sustainble mean of living will have less generation of air pollution. then you can make a group to motivate others to follow you with certain agenda and back up. Together U can push your thought to your local government to impose red tax/green tax for promoting the thought of green sustainance.

Ok My apple (red delicious) tree had many blossems on it and it looked like it was going to porduce alot of apples.

However after it flowered AND after the blossems flowered and fell off the (green stalks) the blossems grew (out) of fell off too!
Now there is only a Few good ones that look like they are turning into apples.

Is this normal adn does this normally happen???

I used Bonide fruit tree spray. It should take care of every kind of problem regarding insects and blight ect. I got this at the tracter supply store.

It’s probably normal. Most fruit trees produce much more fruit than they can really grow to maturity. Sometimes you have to thin the fruit by hand unless you want really small apples. Some trees ’self-thin’ by dropping off the excess fruit after blooming. It sounds like that is what your tree has done.

Tripping on your Chihuahua isn’t a euphemism for something dirty, nor is handling your Chihuahua, and if Randy fell on Paula’s dog it would have been in trouble.
